Melanie Krause’s writings are personal reflections inspired by scripture through art.
At the time Melanie started writing she didn’t set out to publish a book. But as time went on and through the Lord's promptings a manuscript came to be. She wrote these devotions with the intent of the reader finding a quiet place, having a bible near by, and a pencil in hand to reflect and write. And that these devotions aid in deepening that relationship our Lord and Savior calls us to.
After finding her church home, in Kerrville Texas, Melanie felt called to the ministry of spiritual direction. She completed her 3 formations at St. Peter Upon The Water, a center for spiritual direction and formation, in Ingram, TX. Melanie plays an active roll as a spiritual companion in the Acts retreat movement and as a facilitator of silent retreats.
Writing Footprint from God allowed Melanie to reflect on verses in every book in her bible. It was a time in prayer, & a time of self reflection and growth.
